Subjects Taught
Grade 3

I graduated from Northland College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

I was hired by the Washburn School District in September of 1992. I taught kindergarten for the district until 2005 at which point I began teaching third grade.

I am a 1979 Ondossagon High School graduate, and a 1987 graduate of Northland College, with a BS in education. I have taught in the Washburn School District since 1992, as a kindergarten teacher until 2005, when I began teaching third grade. I am especially interested in early childhood education, and teaching in both kindergarten and third grade has given me the great opportunity to teach at both ends of the early childhood spectrum.

I am married to Washburn High School graduate, Bruce Lambert. We live in Washburn, and have four children, all of whom graduated from Washburn. Our eldest son, Jeffrey, is a graduate of UW Stevens Point and is working for the US Forest Service as a wildland firefighter. Our daughter, Allison, is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. She works in Minneapolis. Our next son, Thomas, is a graduate of St. Olaf College, and is a doctoral candidate at Princeton University. Our youngest son, James, is a nursing student at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth.

My husband and I reside in Washburn with our dog, Bella, and my son's turtle, a 10 year old red-eared slider named Leroy.
